Bathroom strip-outs, ready for your renovation

The demolition is the messiest, heaviest part of any bathroom renovation. Let us do it: we strip the room back, carry out every tile and bit of rubble, and leave it clean for your plumber, waterproofer and tiler.

What comes out

We strip back as far as your renovation needs, from a quick fixture swap to a full strip down to the frame or slab.

  • Vanities, cabinets, mirrors and shaving cabinets
  • Baths, shower bases and shower screens
  • Toilets and cisterns
  • Wall and floor tiles, including tile beds
  • Wall linings and old waterproofing
  • Fittings, towel rails and accessories

Careful where it counts

Bathrooms usually sit in the middle of a lived-in home. We protect the floors and walkways between the bathroom and the truck, bag the rubble as we go, and work with your plumber so services are capped and left ready. If you're in a unit, we'll work around the strata rules too.

How it's priced

Bathroom size, how far back we're stripping (tiles over masonry take longer than tiles over sheeting), how much rubble there is, and access: ground floor, up the stairs or in a unit block. A few photos are enough for a free quote.

FAQ

Bathroom Strip-Outs questions

How long does a bathroom strip-out take?

Most standard bathroom strip-outs by Top Team Rubbish Machine are done in a day, including removing all the rubble. Larger bathrooms, tile beds over masonry or difficult access can take a little longer, and we'll tell you upfront.

Do I need a plumber before a bathroom strip-out?

Water and any services to fixtures being removed need to be isolated and capped. Many people have their plumber do this on the morning of the strip-out. We'll coordinate with your plumber or builder so the room is left ready for them.

Can you strip out a bathroom in an apartment?

Yes. We regularly carry bathroom rubble down stairs and through unit blocks. We protect common areas and follow the building's strata rules on working hours and lift use.
