Working in commercial buildings
Office buildings come with rules: loading dock bookings, goods lift times, protection for common areas and quiet hours for other tenants. We plan the job around them, protect lifts and corridors, and keep the noise and mess inside your tenancy.
When we're finished the floor is swept and empty, ready for the new fit-out, a final inspection or the make-good sign-off.
What happens to the old fit-out
Metal (desk frames, ceiling grid, filing cabinets) is separated for recycling, e-waste goes to e-waste recycling, and anything else is taken to licensed waste facilities. If you have furniture that's still good, tell us and we'll work out the best way to move it on.

Office Strip-Outs questions
How long does an office strip-out take?
It depends on the floor area and how much fit-out is coming out. A small office can often be stripped and cleared in a day, while larger floors take longer. Top Team Rubbish Machine gives you a timeframe with the free quote so you can plan the handover.
Do you remove ceiling tiles and carpet in an office strip-out?
Yes. We remove suspended ceiling tiles and grid, carpet and carpet tiles, partitions and joinery, along with all furniture and equipment, and clear it all from the building in the same job.
Can you book the loading dock and goods lift?
We'll work with your building manager's booking process. Let us know the building rules when you request a quote and we'll plan the strip-out around the dock and lift times.
